Belonia May 01: Under the initiative of Belonia Bankar Oriental Club, a 5-day long ‘Baisakhi Fair’ will commence from May 17 next.

Amidst various cultural and competitive events scheduled for five long days, the fair will continue till May 21, next.

Club president Shribas Sen while speaking in this regard said, “The club will also organize various awareness programs including an anti-drug campaign. Also, artists from state and outside will perform in the evening hours throughout the five days of festivity”.

A number of stalls will be set up including stalls of different government offices, women self help groups and others.

The members of the club urged the common people to visit the fair grounds and enjoy to their fullest.
